Sector partnerships
Sector partnerships with area-based organisations strengthen our reach and allow us to have more impact on district-level growth. We collaborate with the private sector, civil society, academic institutions and government through four key area-based, non-profit sector partnerships that focus on the provision of, ‘top-up; services, on-the-ground economic growth, community support and innovative civil engagement, amongst other things.
The Greater Tygerberg Partnership is a catalytic champion for the Greater Tygerberg Region. We are working towards the revitalisation of the Voortrekker Road Corridor and the Bellville CBD to ensure the social and economic well-being of Cape Town’s second metropolitan node for the benefit and enjoyment of all our citizens. We hope to achieve this by championing a diverse, engaging, economically strong, safe and sustainable metropolitan region through a variety of programmes and services.
“PEDI is forging ahead with a plan to unite business owners and residents of Philippi. The plan will create a model for urban renewal and development in South Africa. The development of key catalyst sectors is at the heart of PEDI’s drive to transform the economy of this, the Central Suburbs.”
Hout Bay Partnership (HBP)

The Partnership aims to harness talent and goodwill to address Hout Bay’s social and economic challenges and to contribute to a better, more inclusive and more integrated future for us all. It will do this through a collaborative approach with government, businesses, NGOs and residents.’
